Top Dynamic Duos of The Office

These are the greatest duos of The Office
Sometimes it's love, sometimes it's hate, either way we love these characters no matter what they are doing, as long as they are doing it together!

12. Phyllis and Angela

The rival between these two has been going on since the first season. In The Alliance, we first see the tension revolving around the Party Planning Committee. For 2 seasons Angela ran the show and Phyllis was her punching bag. At Toby's going away party Phyllis gets the last laugh by catching Angela and Dwight in the act, after Angela just agreed to marry Andy. Phyllis then blackmails Angela into doing whatever she wants her to. Until finally it culminates in Phyllis telling the whole office about the affair. We had some really great one-liners between these two, "I think green is whorish". Here's hoping the PPC gets reinstated!

11. Kelly and Ryan

She loves him. He sometimes likes her. These two have been somewhat of a background joke for over 4 seasons. They have weathered so much: him leaving to be VP of Dunder Mifflin, his downfall with drugs, her fling with Darrell and his blond hair. But yet they still seem to be drawn to each other, no matter how annoying it is to everyone around them.

10. Andy and Dwight

These two started out as rivals for Michael's approval, then became rivals for Angela's affections, then became buddies thanks to Angela spreading the love between the two of them. Whichever way, Andy and Dwight together are a joy to watch.

9. Phyllis and Bob Vance

Phyllis started out as a very mousy character, always getting put down by the people in the office. Once she started dating, then married, Bob Vance she has gradually become a stronger voice in the office.

8. Michael and Jan
It was a train wreck from the beginning, but what fun to watch. We knew everything about their relationship was wrong, but we went along for the ride anyway. Michael just wanted so badly for her to be something she wasn't and she used Michael at any opportunity she could. The infamous episode The Dinner Party was a peek inside their home life and as scary as it was we couldn't look away.

7. Pam and Michael

Michael was the only one that came to Pam's art show and told her how great it was. Pam was the only one in the office that would follow Michael when he quit and started Michael Scott Paper Company. Things did get a little hairy once Michael started dating Pam's Mom, but after she slapped him, things appear to be back to normal. Now that is a healthy relationship!

6. Michael and Holly
Michael has been waiting so long for the love of his life and thought he found her in Holly. She understood his humor because as Jim put it "Holly is kind of a dork". They were meant to be until the powers that be, found out about their love, and had her transferred. Michael still talks about her to this day. Unfortunately, it seems Holly has moved on with someone else, as Michael keeps trying to find someone almost comparable to her.

5. Michael and Toby
Michael has a Nemesis and his name is Toby Flenderson. No one knows the root of Michael's disgust of Toby, but Toby can do no right. I think Michael says it best " Why are you the way that you are? Honestly, every time I try to do something fun or exciting, you make it not... that way. I hate... so much about the things that you choose to be." Poor Toby.

4. Dwight and Angela

Dwight Schrute is a tall, lanky, geeky beet farmer and Angela Martin is a short, uptight Christian woman. They somehow, to our surprise, fell in love, and they seem made for each other. They bring out each other's good qualities even though, neither of them would admit it. But when Dwight accidentally killed Angela's cat, it was all downhill from there. Angela's Valentine's present to Dwight, a bobble head of himself, was an icon of the show for 3 seasons. But because she was sleeping with Andy and Dwight at the same time, the bobble head hit the trash and has never been seen again.

3. Michael and Dwight
Dwight has been the ever faithful assistant to the regional manager. Michael takes full advantage of his loyalty. Dwight actually thinks Michael is funny and smart and powerful. Michael thinks Dwight is an idiot. The fact is Michael couldn't function without Dwight
because no matter what Michael says or does Dwight has his back. He is that loyal. Together, they are comic genius.

2. Jim and Dwight

Pranks, Pranks, and more Pranks. Dwight get suckered over and over by Jim's innocent little games he plays all day long. A love/hate relationship, Jim never passes up an opportunity to mess with head of Dwight K Shrute. Yet deep down, they both have a respect for one another. Now that Jim has basically taken Dwight's co-manager position (in his mind anyway), we may be seeing the tables turned. Watch out Jim Halpert, Dwight may be doing the pranking now.

1. Jim and Pam
The classic love story. We have been rooting for them from since the first episode. We have seen so many little moments between them that have convinced us that no one belongs together more than these two. Even after marriage it is still exciting to see them together because their relationship is very real. Putting them together didn't lessen the show, which a lot of people thought it would. They still have the same chemistry as they did in the beginning and it was well worth the wait.
